About

2013 02 25_0688_edited-1My aim for this blog is twofold. First, I struggle with writing. These struggles center on the fact that I have difficulty memorizing and this greatly affects my spelling and grammar. No excuses, which brings me to the first aim for this blog: to get better at writing.  You won’t improve if you don’t practice.

I love to read so I am aware of the deficiencies of this blog. Because of this, I do not link to other blogs or seek other sites to link here. There are many great bloggers that are saying the same things but saying them better.

Secondly, as the title “Faith Unfeigned” suggests, I am very concerned with sincere faith and feel that where most of Christianity struggles is not with the particulars but with the metaphysical ideas of the historic Christian faith.  My aim is to engage with the big ideas of historic Christianity.

Sir: I found your blog as I was googling for the definition of counterpoint in photography. It brought me to your stunning, emotional shot of the snow scene and the full moon. I learned a whole lot from it. I’m a beginner photographer, and I’m more into emotion than technique. I thank you for writing, for posting photos, and for your Christian stand. I’ll come back again.
